My favourite film
In my life I have watched a lot of movies of every type of genre, but the most interesting film have been The Imitation Game and I watched it last year. This movie tells us the story of Alan Turing, a famous mathematician and british cryptanalyst who helped win the World War II.

In this movie, we start watching a young Alan Turing in school and his difficult life in this stage, trying to charge with constant abuses from his classmates and how started, influenced by his best friend Christopher to read about crypgtography.
When Alan Turing became adult, he started working to the british goverment, trying to break codes from the old Germany to stay one step front the nazis. But it wasn't that easy, and was necessary a very smart team to break the enigma code, which was a machine that nazis used to employ to send messages between them. This plan was a silence strategic that required a lot of sacrifices, avoiding only most dangerous attacks from the ships, to not been caught by Germany.

What makes that movie very attractive is the real fact that Alan Turing helped saving millions of lives finishing World War II at least 2 years ealier. For that reason, Alan Turing is considered a big name in the war according to alot of historians.
Unfortunately, at the end Alan was prosecuted in 1952 for his homosexuality. He accepted chemical castration treatment, with DES, as and alternative prison.
I recommend this movie because, it helps us to know more about Alan and his relevancy with the knowledge that we have now in relation to computers and machines which we use every day in our lives, and of course, his importance in World War II.
